I would recommend a professional repair as material loss and colour has probably been removed from the top surfacesl. However, 'in brief': the underfelt must be cut back if showing, use a light filler to create adhesive surface, glue any raised material back down and fill any material loss. Smooth top surface by light grain sanding, recolour to match the panel, seal and protect to finish.
