How does the top of the center agitator connect to the bottom agitator on m?
How does the top of the center agitator connect to the bottom agitator? This is on a top loading whirlpool washer, about 8 years old. The top piece doesn't spin when there are clothes in the washing machine.
Something like this...Pop off the cap on top. Then remove the bolt holding the top part of the agitator then pull that off. Under that top piece are the agitator "dogs", which could be your problem as they wear.
