How to repair elements in Dualit toasters?

Were any of the people who asked about repairing elements in a Dualit toaster successful? If so, can they provide details on how it was done?

You can buy elements from www.needaspare.co.uk
You just need to know how many slots, 2,3, 4 or 6

First determine which elements are burned out. The end ones are different from the middle ones. Order replacement elements from Electra-craft Inc. 41 Woodbine St.; Bergenfield, NJ. 07621 (Phone 201) 437-1700. They cost about $25 each. Shipping around $8. They can also be ordered from Dualit-USA (770) 509-3006), but they quoted $35 per element and $15 shipping. They are fairly easy to install. You will need a Phillips screwdriver to remove the base plate; a 1/4" open or box end wrench to remove the little nuts that hold things in place, and a small pair of pliers to hold the round bolt heads so that they don't turn sympathetically with the nuts. When you remove any wires make a note of which color goes to which terminal so you won't forget. A sliding retaining strip holds the elements in place. A 1/4" socket is helpful to loosen the bolts that hold it in place (loosen, don't remove). Remove the old element and slide in the new one. Slide the retaining strip back, tighten, make electrical connections and you're done.
