Got new double light switch, but forgot to note wiring on old one - now can use only one switch at a time (there are three, 2 in hall and one down stairs)... how can I identify which wires are which so as to wire the replacement switch properly?

remove cover on 1 of other sw. and check it match wires same as that sw. should work ok.
