how do you get the reverse light working on a ford fiesta p reg 1.25 zetec?

how do you fix the reverse light on a ford fiesta 1.25 zetec mk3, i have changed the bulb and still doesn't work, maybe the switch? but no idea where to find it!

The switch will most likely be attached to the gearbox.

sometimes it is hidden around the lower area of the gear stick under the leather gaytor and central plastic panels. it is a bit of a pain to get too.
