I have both a canon V10B and also a Panasonic NV100 portable VHS players both model are 12 volt to which I connect my Panasonic A2 Newvicon video camera to, the camera functions correctly confirming the battey is OK, also player work up to the point when either by remote from the camera controls or manual controls on player the tape is activated to run, the tape stops also the same thing happens if I try to rewind or fast forward the tape, any advice or can you help please. Probably the idler assembly. They are not expensive to buy but you need to know what you are doing if you are going to replace it.
