the zetec engines normally have a timing mark on the crankshaft pulley its self (the one that runs the alt belt) and at the top for the camshafts you will need to lock the cams to do this you will need to insert a right sized flat bar after taking the rocker cover off you will find the slots at the rear of the cams.
