I have a 2002 Ford Focus with the in dash 6 CD changer and it has three CDs stuck in it. It wouldn't load, eject or play at all, so I removed the unit and took the top off and removed the top 2 CDs. The other three are BELOW the laser/reading assembly and I can't get to them. From what I've seen on the internet, this is a common problem with these systems and I'm thinking it's gonna be cheaper in the long run to replace it with an aftermarket unit.

The same thing started happening recently with my 2002 Ford Focus with the in dash 6-CD changer. A CD gets stuck inside and the only way to get it out is to remove the unit and open the top. Sometimes the unit locks up completely and other times I am able to play CDs in some of the slots. This has happened several times now, and lately is occurring more frequently. Has anyone else had this problem?
