governer spring and governer idle spring placement on a Briggs and Stratton?

I have a Briggs and Stratton lawn mower model number 10A902. Where do the governer spring and the governer idle spring hook to under the air filter? A picture diagram showing the actuall pieces connected would be Great.

Hi PAtrick

Know this was a long time ago but did you get a digram anywhere. I am after the same for my 252707 engine
Thanks
Mike

Both ends are hooked into the loop of the governor-rod end connected to the governor-fan end.

The opposite free ends of the springs for example the idle or smaller-spring is pushed through the slit-hole of a upright piece of metal facing the spring itself where it hooks-in.

The governor-spring or larger-one loops into a larger hole that is laying-down beside the smaller-one!

Hope this free info helps, otherwise join a forum online?!
