Vcr Panasonic Model NV-J11A?

Is the a commonfault to a panasonic vcr model NV-J11A, it dead no stand by light or any light on the front panel of the vcr. The mains fuse in the power supply is ok.
I need a chematic diagram, can anybody give me a link iwhere i can get the schematic for free, in just doing this as favor for a friend.
Main filter capacitor has got a 323 volts dc. But the switch mode power supply doesn't work.

Good to hear you solved the fault Jo. Although I can't provide my email address, I often browse through these forums and will offer advice where I can. Appreciate your comments.

Thank you for your input cobweb, i found the promlem its a 680uf /20v, 105deg cent. electrolytic capacitor leaking oil but its close to the chopper transformer. Theres a massive oil leakage in the base of the capacitor. Replaced that and its working ok now.
Can i get you email address, so i can you a directly email atechnical question when i have some problems with fixing stuff. Tv,vcr and audio. You seem to be an expert in these things - i have seen your name in the forum a lot giving sound technical advice.

Well, if it's anything like the UK 'J' series models, very common for those symptoms is failure of C1009 a 1uF 400V 105deg electrolytic capacitor sits in the primary side T1101 in the shielded power supply block. The component specification for non-UK models may well be different and should only be replaced with an identical part to that which is currently fitted.
