My Nokia 3310 won't stay switched on after water damage?

My phone had water damage, so I dried it out and replaced the battery and it seemed fine. Now it seems to only work when permanently attached to the charger and even then it keeps switching itself off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could take it to be mended?? but i would reccommend you should buy a new mobile.
