I downloaded a service manual for a K5SS which also covers the K45SS from the Kitchenaid web site. It is a .pdf file that has wiring diagrams and a complete instruction manual that tells you how to completely disassemble, repair and adjust the entire mixer.
I don't recall the web adress, but if you Google "Kitchenaid" I think you should find it.
