Long case clock maker?

How can I find the maker of my Victorian longgcase? I can make out some of the makers name (ttly appear to be the last 4 letters). The place name is illegable but somthing is there. The clock is late victorian and was bought in the Blackburn area.It has a painted dial of a hunting scene.

Try looking at the dial in strong light (sun or artificial) and from different angles, you may find there is one angle that gives better results. Alternatively try using an ultra-violet light only, in a darkened room; sometimes the remnants of ink will show better under a UV light (a banknote checker will work for this).
Best of luck!
