How can i fix my sprotcraft TX400 treadmill?

today (2008/02/13) my sprotcraft TX400 treadmill worked for few seconds. I put in all the settings and it started working but stopped after 5 to 6 seconds. The panel display just the calorie counter which had the number 3. The problem is not resolve after several tries.
what can I do ?

You are right Kathy. You gave me an idea about the sensor. I find it completely dirty. After cleaning it, it worked correctly.

you need to adjust the speed sensor, it is next to the pulley wheel, it should be no more that 5mm from the magnet, which is the width of 2 nickels.

I want you to start your treadmill again. This time I want you to start pushing the belt before you start the treadmill.
If your treadmill starts picking up the speed of your push you may have a blown lower board not sending voltage to your motor. You are now the motor. Stop pushing and you should get an error code.
