I assume you can use normal mode ok. There are number of reasons for this error - best at this stage to Google bad_pool_caller and check through some of the results for some pointers. I have had it appear just once lately after several other bsod messages over the last week or so. In my case I think it is memory playing up somewhere although I have checked it out ok with the MS tool mtinst.exe.
