RE: Moffat oven MSS 600 conventional cooking option not working?

so when conventional cooking selected (2 parralell lines) and the the grill element is red hot, this is normal. Never used to see the grill element glowing before.

which part is on inner or outer?.i think the outer is on but can't be 100% sure.one part is meant to come on with bottom element for sure.if both top elements come on then i would be inclined to say it was a faulty function selector switch.
