hi i got a cordless drill from b&q now guarantee expired.the slow speed device failed on me its a little transistor or a thryristor.the make is morocco,p60nf.350416.

The device you mention is not all there is to the circuit the rest is surface mount technology buried in the trigger
the only way to repair this is to get a new unit from the Manufacturer
