How do I connect a re-circulating Cooker Hood to the electrics?

Just had a new fitted kitchen and they have left the cookerhood cable dangling down the side. Splashback is tiled so unable to access cooker socket for fixed wiring.

Is it possible to connect via a 3A fused plug?

yes 3amp fused plug into a ring main socket is fine.dont use 13amp fuse as this will give no protection to cooker hood components
