Go to ebay where you can buy a new battery for pennies and a kit to take apart your nano
You will need a solder Iron though

might not be the battery give this a try mine had completly died till i tryed it myself www.apple.com/support/ipodnano theres 5 steps to follow but i only needed 2 give it a try and hope it works for you
