HELP!! WHY WON'T MY RENAULT CLIO 93 DIESEL ENGINE TURN OFF WHEN HOT??

WHY WON'T MY RENAULT CLIO 1.9 DIESEL 93K PLATE, THE IGNITION TURNS THE CAR OFF WHEN COLD OR WARM BUT WHEN THE ENGINE GET'S HOT IT WONT SWITCH OFF!! AND I'M BAFFLED - THE ENGINE DOES NOT OVERHEAT OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT AND PERFORMS WELL ACCEPT FOR THIS, **PLEASE HELP** ANY ADVICE WOULD BE VERY APPRECIATED** THANKS.

have you over filled your engine with oil? if so it could be that when the oil expands through heat its finding its way up the breather and into you inlet manifold, this would enter the cylinders and act as a fuel which would keep the engine running. usually when this happens the revs of the engine go right up but its still worth checking your oil level anyway
