Vauxhall Astra 1,6 LS charging Light stays on?

Hi,

I have a P Reg Astra. The charging/battery light stays on even though I am measuring 13.5V across the battery whilst running. Any ideas?

have you checked tension on alternator belt also reading across battery shoul be 14 volts plus. alternator could be on its way out
