I am watching the motor through the front access hatch. When main agiatator motor operates a slight "electrical burning" smell starts. Advancing to "rinse" the outlet pump starts and operates OK. The main drive pulses and smell is still apparent. When the main drive kicks in and speed ramps up, smoke starts to fill the air.

Any advice or spares lists etc

Most likely the stator has burnt winding, which spark the fire once the machine turn on. The solution is replace the stator part. Good luck
