I have a Vauxhall Vectra with radio and seperate CD player. The CD player is showing "safe" but the hand book says nothing about entering the code(which I have). I have tried entering the code as for the radio but it doesn't work. Any thoughts any one?

Press and hold down AS and the On off switch at the same time with the key in ignition. you should see something like
10 ---- come up after awhile. enter the 4 digit number by pressing either 1, 2, 3, or 4 on the pre-select buttons - once you have entered the correct number press and hold down AS again
