with the rover radio you need to press the 1 preset button then use the radio tunning > buttons to select code digit, repeat this way using preset 1 to store code when finished

With most radios switch on,press button 1 continuously until the first number of your code appears on screen then button 2 for the next number and so on,then press 5 and it should come on.
