how can i mend my cd player which is not reading any discs. technics sc-eh7?

my technics sc-eh760 hi fi is working other than the cd player cannot read any discs. the message no disc is shown after pressing play can you help

First thing to check is wether the lens is clean,
does it spend time trying to read the TOC track,
before it says no disk
