I have a CD Player in my Kia Sportage 99. When I insert a cd into the player it shows the 00 -- 000 like its going to play and then it says "Eject" and kicks it out. Never does it play. What is wrong with this? THANK A BUNCH

PS it is factory cd player/radio.

Clean your cd player. If the laser eye gets dirty the cd player will kick the cd out. If for any reason the system can read the disk either from being the wrong type, damaged or blank it will eject it. Now thats the easy fix. If that does not work your head unit may be damaged. Parts wear out and often its cheaper to replace it.
