It just went red hot. It was nowhere near a hot service or in hot weather. It was red hot. I took the battery out to let it cool, replaced it and now it don't work.
it looks like a power surge. probably the resistors have all gone thus not powering up the phone. any mobile repairs shop could carry out the repairs.
Warning: this is a delicate procedure and if you are not familiar with motherboard lines out do not attempt it!
