Leave ignition on for 3 hours then switch it off then back on again, sometimes this will do the trick sometimes, failing that go to vauxhall and they will give you the code if you have the serial number, remove the radio and it will be on the casing,to remove the radio you will need to remove the 4 very small screws in the holes at the front of the radio then buy the radio prongs from halfords(about £3) this will extract the radio, but before you remove the radio phone vauxhalls with the chassis/vin number as they may have radio code on computer, charge for this is usually £15 plus VAT,Hope this helps.Tony. hi
The safe mode time goes up each time a wrong code is entered i.e 1st=10seconds 2nd=10minutes ect upto 360minutes and you only get 10 attempt's to enter the correct code then the radio is out of action and it's a dealer job. Try switching the igntion on turning the radio off and pressing the AS button for 3second's.... code should flash up.... enter the correct code by pressing the preset button's i.e code 0365...press preset 1 once = 0 preset 2 four time's=3 preset 3 seven time's =6 preset 4 six time's=5 then press AS for 3 second's until you hear a beep and the radio should come on if you've got the correct code.
