More than likely it is going to be the drive coupling which is located directly under the agitator. Remove the agitator cap and remove the bolt under it, then the agitator should raise straight up from the splined drive shaft & coupling. If it is the coupling you will see the inner splines missing once you remove it. If this is not the trouble then go inside for a belt problem.
