The long feed gear on my Singer stylist 834, broke apart. Is it hard to replace? The parts list recomends replacing both feed gears. Can you give any instructions on replacement? Thanks

To replace the conical gears is fairly easy, to replace the long gear is a major job and will mean taking the shaft out, you need to be a mechanic to take that task on.
