If it is a digital camera, can you not link it to the computer, so that you use the power from the computer usb to close lens ?

I've an A204 and this happened recently so.... took the battery out for an hour, re-inserted and just enough juice to wind the lens back in. Batterys do recover a little if not on constant drain
