e4 fault how can i fix it?

we have tried tipping the machine to drain the water with no success .. i have cleaned the inside drain with kitchen roll to get rid of excess water, the machine will start but not finish the full cycle . the machine is around 16 months old it was 13 months when the problem started kenwood hey !!!!!

Yes I had a kenwood and they are sh*t! I had an e4 fault and had an engineer out to it, he said its a china mass produced machine and is the same as comets etc home name with a different badge on it. The problem was the motor seal had gone and it would cost £100 pound to fix it which he said dont bother as its not worth it! Apparently theres a float at the bottom on machine that detects water and trips the e4 error message, sometime you can get lucky and its just a pipe or something but more than likely its the motor seal which drips to bottom and sets of e4 fault!
