The problem may be that the incline switch may be faulty. I had problems with mine and ordered the replacement switch at http://www.iconservice.com/proform/parts.html. It cost about $12 and was easy to install. took a couple days to get the part and 5 minutes to install. Works fine now. Cliff

Proform tells me that on the inside of the motor hood there is
elevation calibration instructions.
Try calibrating 1st.
