The Igniter stays on when the oven is lit?

Cannon C 60 GTC
Traditional 60
The bottom oven lights ok but the igniter ceeps on clicing away
can anyone shed some light on this problem (it's the first time the
oven has been used)

The igniter is faulty or corroded. There may be an easy fix. See my reply to: Burner Ignitor fires continously?
