my clarion drx6675z either says error 2, error 6, and sometimes it says disc chk what is wrong with it and how can i fix it...thanks also im not sure if theres a cd in it or not, when i push eject nothing happens

i have the same problem and ive noteiced that it gets alot hotter than a normal deck so i put an old compuer fan on it and it works alot better but it still gives me error 3 and 6 evry now and again but it isnt as bad

I'm afraid I don't have an answer, instead I have exactly the same problem. I have, however, noticed one thing - if I play the CD without starting the engine there is no problem. As soon as I start the car I get the Error 6 message. Is it possible that there is a power drain on the unit?
