how can i fix my engine management light?

engine management light is on all the time my punto is not burning the petrol and is not ticking over smothly

The management light shows that the car has a fault somewhere - obviously! A fault code will be stored in the car's on board computer, which can be interrogated by any garage with suitable diagnostic equipment and they should be able to advise you on what to do next.
