I have an A E G 74640update machine which is very noisy on spin cycle. It seems that the bearings need replacing. The machine is 5years old. What sort of price would this repair be or should I consider replacing the machine bearing in mind the age of it

yes it sounds like bearings and the age is about spot on for failure.cost is hard to say as areas charge different prices.guide price £100-£160 if done correctly or bearing kits around £30 plus what ever they charge for fitting.it is an involved job unless you are a die hard diy person
