My Compressor Keeps blowing fuses?

My compressor keeps blowing fuses in the fusebox in the garage,
And does not start etc before blowing them,
Any help would be much appreciated!

You need to check to see what current rating the fuses actually are - a 13 amp fuse for example will only pass 3kw before blowing - and many compressors use more current than this. The current/wattage rating should be stamped on a plate fixed to the motor somewhere.
