I set my video a couple of days ago on timer to record something. I have since gone to play it and it is set to Satellite (SATP) and keeps displaying a key symbol. It wont play or record/eject I cant get it to do anything. It is a few years old and the model is a VR600 Philips. I think it needs an unlock code but i cant find the manual to tell me how to unlock it. Can anyone help?

Hi. Most of the Philips ones I've worked on require you to hold the power button on the front of the VCR for about 10 to 20 seconds (until the key goes away). It is a child lock. Otherwise, try holding play, eject, or other buttons for 20 secoonds.
