HOW DO IFIX MY LAGUNA 2001 SELF CANCELLING INDICATORS?

If the indicators won't self cancel thats due to a small plastic peg on the column switch being broken off - so the lug on the steering column itself doesn't trip it. This is presuming that the thing hasn't been fiddled with previously, of course!
