Power failure on my ceramic hob, can it be fixed?

My kettle short circuited today and I had a power failure. The problem was sorted and I have now realised that although all my other appliances work, my electric hob does not! There is no power to it all all and im wondering if there is a cut out switch type of thing, although I cant find one. The main switch to turn it on does not have a fuse and im in a panick! Please help if you can. It is a Miele Delux 5 ring ceramic hob. I cannot find a serial number as the hob is integrated in the worktop. Thanks.

My Bosch Ceramic Hob would not power up this morning. When trying to power up, only a single red "dot" appeared next to the "on" button for about a second. I tried switching off/ on at the isolator - no effect.
Decided it must be a "software error" not mentioned in the Bosch Manual.
With the mains isolator on: I pressed the "on" button with various combinations of the other three buttons. All the rings switched on at power level 8. I switched the isolator off, and then on again - and the fault had cleared. I then tested each ring - power on/ power level up and down/ off.
It was back to normal!!
