I inputted the incorrect code three times into my stock CD player on a 2003 Pulsar ST. I have the correct code now (was written down incorrectly), but cannot input it as the CD player continues to display "Err", despite running the car with the error code displayed for an hour (as per the manual), disconnecting the battery, and removing the fuse. Is there any way of getting to the CODE display again?

press preset 2 button repeatedly for 2nd digit
press preset 3 button repeatedly for 3rd digit
press preset 4 button repeadedly for 4th digit
then press tuning up button to enter
