CAN I SAVE MY VIDEO CASSETTE TAPES?

MY DAD HAD A FLOOD IN HIS BASEMENT. IT WAS THREE FEET AND MY VIDEO CASSETTE TAPES WERE DOWN THERE INSIDE OF A BLUE PLASTIC STERLITE STORAGE CONTAINER BUT THEY STILL GOT WET. CAN I SAVE THEM? IF SO HOW?

If the tapes are still wet, split the cassette halves, carefully unwind them from the cassette and let them air dry without them touching anything, when they are dry re-wind them into the cassette and you might be lucky and have saved the recordings. but do not use any hot air on the tape, you can use warm air on the cassette to remove any trapped water
