Table has cracks made in it, Don't want them!?

The dining room table we bought has cracks made in it all the way across and 3 inches apart. It looked pretty at the store but I can't stand how the cracks fill with crumbs. How can I fill them and make a smooth surface dining room table?

what colour is the table" there are lots of fillers out there for wooden floors, you can get in lots of real wood shades that might match your table colour, they come in small tins , and go rock hard after a day , and then you just sand them smooth, with very light sand paper, to blend them in , take a look in a good hardwear store, b and Q ect, go to were they have their flooring, section, and aks them , its about £8 to £10 a tin , good luck
