FORD RDS 6000 E.ON RADIO/CD PLAYER?

HELLO THERE, I WONDER IF YOU CAN HELP ?
MY FORD RADIO PART IS FINE BUT WHEN I PUT A CD IN IT THE SCREEN SHOWS `ERROR CHECK CD`, IS THIS FIXABLE PLEASE?

The CD player does not function, there are CDs in the player, cannot insert/eject any CDs, get a message CD error 3, It seems to be a problem with loading/ejecting

I have a similar problem, on a 4 yr old one. I have contacted repairers in Elsmere Port Cheshire, [Tel. 0151 348 0123], and they suspect the laser reader, cost about £150, but they also do guaranteed replacement units £265!!!.
Mine goes in next week

You have to enter a separate Security Code for the CD (See the paperwork/manuals with the car )
