breadmaker not cooking?

I have a Cookworks breadmaker, which makes a beautiful-looking nicely risen loaf, but is not cooking it! Is this the element or control chip gone?

Model no. is XBM 1038

I have had similar problems.

Solutions
1.Allow to knead and prove and when it's at it's biggest stick it in a hot oven.
2. Or my element starts working again if I switch off the machine at the back for a few seconds a couple of times during the mixing and proving cycle.
the machines are designed not to loose there place in the cycle if there is a short power cut so no problems.
