Hi Brett,

Homelite has apparently stopped manufacturing the original battery part, but a replacement is available. The part number is:

DA06965A

The cost is horrendous - $87.60 + shipping from Homelite's parts distributor online. I bought some sub c sized ni-cads and rebuilt mine for about $20.
