my car came with a radio cassette, but i wasn't told the code, so i pressed 2 many buttons and now it has locked, i have since got yhe code but cannot put it in as it wont let me. how can i do this

Hi Pam, it depends on the make & model of the radio, try leaving the radio switched on for at least 1hr without touching any of the buttons and this will sometimes allow you to then enter the code otherwise you might have to get the radio reset by the maufacturer or radio specialist
