when i turn the dryer on the drum turns twice then trips the main rcd on the consumer unit of the house this happens every time

water in the element.remove the back kidney shaped panel and dry it all out with a hair dryer for 25 mins at least.reassemble and test.if it trips in a short while then i would think the drain pump might be at fault.this would require a full strip down to replace.
