How can I repair my dishwasher?

My Smeg Dishwasher starts and the stops.Has the programmer gone

Seems a darn shame for a Smeg. They are pretty reliable.
If its still under warrenty i suggest you take it to the store you bought it from.
Other than that the only thing i can think of is the programming board.
